Quality certification and new CPR (EU) 305/2011
Quality certification
ALA SpA’s primary objective has always been to achieve and maintain high quality standards, a goal achieved through extensive experience in the sector, ongoing technical training, high levels of professionalism, and market-appropriate expertise. This objective drove the company to undertake the process of obtaining ISO 9000 Quality System Certification, a process that required significant investment and commitment from the entire company staff. The project was crowned with success, with the achievement of ISO 9002 Certification in 1998 and Certification of Conformity to the UNI EN ISO 9001:2008 Standard in April 2010. In June 2017, the company also obtained UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certification.
CPR (Ue) 305/2011
The European Parliament and the Council of the European Union have adopted Regulation No. 305/2011, better known as the Construction Products Regulation (CPR). The Regulation, published in the Official Journal of the European Union, has already entered into force. The new CPR repealed Directive 89/106/EEC (CPD), entering into force on 01/07/2013. The main innovation of the CPR is the Declaration of Performance (DoP), which replaces the Declaration of Conformity and must be supplied with the products. The UNI EN 1856-1 and UNI EN 1856-2 standards apply to all metal conduits. Since March 2006, ALA Spa has certified its products according to the UNI EN 1856-2:2004 standard and the related adaptation to UNI EN 1856-2:2009. Since September 2009, all our products have successfully passed the V2 corrosion resistance test required by the UNI EN 1856-1 and UNI EN 1856-2 standards and subsequent updates.
